The Asia Foundation

On International Women’s Day 2021, CHARLES & KEITH announces our support of The Asia Foundation’s work in gender equality and women’s empowerment in Southeast Asia. We will donate part of the proceeds collected in the month of March from our digital flagship store to The Asia Foundation. This donation will go to The Asia Foundation’s programs to empower women facing vulnerabilities in Southeast Asia. The brand’s donations will go to programs that provide care, protection and education for vulnerable girls and women at risk of trafficking and sexual exploitation in Laos, as well as help to promote and raise awareness about gender-based violence helplines and legal services in Cambodia.

Women Empowering Women

This year, CHARLES & KEITH continues to honor these causes through initiatives that unite women. This campaign kicked off on March 8, with a live-streamed dialogue session featuring two inspiring female leaders: Yoyo Cao—better known by her alias Yoyokulala—and serial entrepreneur and founder of 8Shades Emily Lam-Ho.

On this International Women’s Day, fashion icon and entrepreneur Yoyo Cao will take over CHARLES & KEITH’s Instagram account(@charleskeithoffical) and invite Emily Lam-Ho to have a meaningful conversation on Instagram Live. These trailblazing women will share their personal insights on women’s empowerment, gender discrimination and female strength. Follow the campaign on @charleskeithofficial and use the hashtags #IWD2021, #CharlesKeithcares and #ImwithCharlesKeith to participate.

As part of its continuing efforts to uplift girls and women around the world, the brand will also support The Asia Foundation’s girls’ education program, sponsoring primary school girls in Laos through a year of education. This sponsorship will support school enrollment fees and other related expenses.
