Social Media Associate
Location: Singapore

Job Purpose

The Social Media Associate is responsible for strategizing and producing brand-level content for our social media platforms. This role also involves advising internal stakeholders and external regional partners on their social content. As the brand’s social voice, the Social Media Associate ensures that all social media output aligns with our brand’s voice and social strategy.

The Social Media Associate works to drive our social media platforms with a strategizing mindset to curate and monitor content for the increase of brand awareness and cultivation of our brand community. At its core this role works to constantly develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across platforms to increase engagement, awareness, community and web traffic.

The Social Media Associate should possess excellent multitasking skills to handle the brand’s social media accounts in a cohesive way. The ideal candidate will have a mix of creative and analytical thinking skills, as this role also requires regular social media content performance tracking for review, assessment and for presentation of data to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Drive Social Media Strategy

  • Research and monitor global fashion/industry trends and directions for implementation into the brand’s social strategy and content calendar (e.g. local and global platform specific trends, UGC drives and identifying new KOLs across markets).
  • Work with the communications team in writing, developing and strategizing online content calendars and UGC generation strategies
  • Guardian of seasonal and annual social media strategy
  • Curate social media guidelines for internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure brand consistency across platforms and regions
  • Responsible for what and when to post (e.g. curate strategy, source for collaborations, schedule for post for company & product news)
  • Identify social media trends and create actionable content plans to stay relevant to target audiences
  • Amplify Brand image by constantly innovating and suggesting new ways of producing social assets and content
  • Remains constantly up to date with trends, functionality and best practices on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
  • Drive the performance and growth of social media platforms through strategic content, engagement, and data-driven optimization.

Influencer Marketing

  • Identify and create collaborative partnerships with the right influencers within the community
  • Develop and execute seasonal seeding plans

Crisis Management

  • Assist with crisis management and negative reviews and comments where applicable

Drive Social Media Platform Advertising

  • Lead in strategizing and executing advertising plans and activities for individual social media platforms
  • Coordinate post and engage in communications with social media community

Drive Social Media and Analytical Skills

  • Ensure content posting strategy in various platforms remains effective and in line with strategy
  • Evaluate data from social media metrics and related marketing metrics for presentation and assessment on a fortnightly basis

Requirements

  • Creative, Communications or Marketing Degree or related disciplines
  • Preferably with at least 1 – 3 years’ experience. Experience in the fashion industry will be advantageous
  • Expert knowledge of Social Media Platforms (a specialist in TikTok will be advantageous) and SEO/ CRM
  • Work well under pressure
  • Pleasant disposition with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Interest in luxury/fashion, art and design
