Senior Retouching Manager
Location: Singapore

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, prep, retouch and process out a high volume of images for all visual communication assets, including campaign & product launches, store images, talent profiles & event photos.
  • Prioritize delivery deadlines of eCommerce images in tandem with Lifestyle and Campaign images
  • Meticulously color match imagery back to physical product
  • Define and maintain digital asset file/structure organization and naming conventions
  • Oversee color standards and quality assurance on all final images
  • Manage freelance retouchers or agencies when image volume requires additional support
  • Work to improve retouching and workflow efficiencies of the team
  • Clearly communicate progress and file delivery to various departments/skateholders
  • Pre-pro with the production team and photographer to provide a POV or solutions to achieve efficiencies in post-production needs
  • Work directly with campaign Creative Executive during the post process, ensuring brand standards are maintained while still respecting photographer’s image style
  • Work with the Graphics team to guarantee image quality both online and in print production
  • Oversee progress of daily/weekly workflows, manage and prioritize workload
  • Hire, supervise, train, schedule, and appraise DI Artist Team
  • To support the photography unit in all photography matters
  • To provide administrative and coordinating support when necessary


REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferably 10 years of relevant experience Applicants with working experience in similar capacity (E.g. Photography, Advertising, E-commerce) will be highly preferred.
  • Strong and polished retouching skills – keen eye and aesthetic
  • Advanced technical understanding of Photoshop and proficient in all Adobe Suites
  • Practical knowledge of file processing
  • Strong Knowledge of color theory and hands-on knowledge with color management working within sRGB web and CMYK spaces
  • Ability to work collaboratively and deliver high quality imagery
  • Ability to communicate with and manage DI Artist Team and external freelancers/agencies
  • Proactive and able to show initiative to foresee and resolve problems related to imagery
  • Proven ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work on multiple high-priority projects at once
  • Strong interest in fashion styling
  • Keen sense of fashion and a passion for the fashion industry
